All are invited to join us for Kernwood's Annual Charity Golf Event — Rally for Research — where every swing will support Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Center for Alzheimer's Research and Treatment!

Our inaugural Rally for Research event at Kernwood was a tremendous success. We raised more than $125,000 and we look to beat that amount in 2025!

Kernwood's Rally for Research Schedule:

  • Registration, warm up and boxed lunches
  • Golf - shotgun start at 1:30 pm
  • Cocktails and Dinner starting at 6:30pm, featuring a silent and live auction

All are invited (both golfers & non-golfers) to join in the evening festivities! We encourage members to bring guests for what is sure to be a great night!

This partnership feels deeply personal. Many of us have witnessed the heartbreak Alzheimer's brings, and now, we have the opportunity to make a difference right here at Kernwood Country Club.

Imagine the impact our support could have on families struggling with this disease.

Every dollar we raise will go directly to Brigham and Women's Hospital Alzheimer's Research and Prevention in support of their mission.

The Center for Alzheimer's Research and Treatment at Brigham and Women's Hospital

We are fortunate to have this Center right in our own backyard, a Center that stands on the very cutting edge of the fight with Alzheimer's disease. The researchers are developing groundbreaking methods to identify Alzhemier's risk early, before symptoms even appear.

Imagine the impact – earlier treatment, improved quality of life for patients, and a change to lessen the economic burden this disease places on families.

From the Center at Brigham and Women's - "As the population ages, Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is nearing epidemic numbers. One out of every ten individuals over the age of 65 has AD. Early diagnosis and treatment when symptoms are very mild provides the best opportunity to improve and maintain the quality of life of older adults, as well as relieve the tremendous economic burden associated with this condition. Our efforts include being able to develop improved diagnostic tests, enabling us to begin treatment prior to the occurrence of symptoms."
