The straightaway fairway aims the player at the two fairway bunkers 245 yards out on the right. The Danvers River running down the entire left side can come up quickly with a pulled tee shot. Although a short iron approach is the norm, the blind green hole locations are devilish, especially front right. Putting from the correct quadrant of the green is a must.
Go with a long iron or fairway wood off the tee. Avoid the water left and bunker right. Second shot will move right to left on the green. Front third of the green is a false front. If you find the bunker left or go over the green, you will face a difficult up and down. |
